Situation: On June 7th 2016 what seemed to be the conclusion of the latest TV reality show came to an end. However, this was no TV show, it was the Republican and Democratic Presidential Primary Elections. On 8th November 2016, the US will choose from between Hilary Clinton and Donald Trump: Hilary, a very well established politician who has been surrounded by controversy, whether it be the Benghazi attacks; personal email accounts, and let us not forget the impeachment trails of her husband, the now known Great Bill Clinton. Trump, a conservative real-estate billionaire, whose controversial standings on policies in all areas has resonated with out of reach Americans.
Faults created by binaries: The two main controversy came at both the party's national conventions. The Republican Party endorsed Trump as their nominee following clear divides within the party, not to another candidate but just against Trump himself. The Democratic party endorsed Hilary, however following the nomination, the supporters of the opposing candidate, Bernie Sanders, started to state that they would prefer to abstain from voting rather than vote for her.
What are the Possible Vistas? Are there any? One of these two candidates will be President of the most powerful country in the world. But neither of them are our ideal choice, but because of the binary we must choose a winner. Unfortunately, this is not a world of Mark Twain where you go to "Heaven for the climate and Hell for the company". All we can do is sit back and watch and ponder What kind of decisions will either of these two people make as President!?
