Situation: Mark received his first big break as an actor when he was 26 years old. Prior to that he only secured TV movies and TV series where his longest role was 8 episodes in a show called The Texas Wheelers (it only lasted one season). Following the six years where Star Wars franchise dramatically boosted his profile he was able to create a brand. Unfortunately, he had become type cast and spent a lot of time back doing TV series and working the Star Wars profile. Should this really be what his career turned into?
Typical binary solution: Either transition into another area of acting or settle for the roles he can secure and utilise the Star Wars profile. Neither of which would be really desirable to him.
Vista: Early in his career before Star Wars, his other minor success was a TV cartoon series, which had 6 episode, it was called Jeannie. Rather than settling for his binary options, mark decided to build a voice career, which has now spanned over 30 years, from Transformers through to Robot Chicken to Johnny Bravo, to name a few. This utilised his core skills in acting but removed the unfortunate stigma he received following Star Wars of his profile in movies. By finding this vista he was able to build out his career allowing him to play multiple roles in each show.
